Highway to Hell
A very good friend of mine sent me this clip earlier today. I'm generally indifferent to Glenn Beck, but I gave it a watch, despite it being somewhat dated (I think it's from late 2020):
Gosh Glenn....YOU'RE tired? YOU'RE worn out? YOU'RE fed up? Well, shit....
|Hajime mashite, Beck-san.|
It's like...where the fuck has this guy been the last couple of decades? It's not like the United States and its allies haven't been routinely wiping their asses with international law, as well as their domestic laws in their respective nation states, all this time and mostly gotten off scott free the entire time, right?
There's A LOT of people out there, Yours Truly included, who are feeling this a hundred fold.
But why has this been happening? Why is it that these sorts of people, be they politicians, government bureaucrats, or slimy corporate types seem to ALWAYS get away with the things they do?
It's simple. Because it's tolerated. Because, despite the growing number of people out there who are 'fed up', 'worn out', and 'tired' of what's happened and continues to happen, there seem to be FAR more people out there who are largely indifferent to everything. I'll give you an example:
This revelation came out two days ago, as a result of the data dump that Pfizer was compelled by the courts to do. No wonder those bastards wanted 75 years to release this information. This is just a smidge of what's come out SO FAR, too.
But how many people are out there talking about this now? How many people are angry about this, be they assholes like me who didn't buy the bullshit and didn't take the jab, or people who did the opposite and are probably regretting it?
Doesn't seem like a whole lot of people are talking about this at all. Why is that? Could it be because they're more busy feigning outrage over a country they couldn't find on a map and didn't give a shit about prior because the people who pretend to be journalists and 'late night joke men' on the 'tee vee' hadn't told them to yet?
What's coming to light on the pandemic and these 'vaccines' is huge. It truly is turning out to be the worst crime in human history, to the point where the people who had a direct hand in this should be dragged out in the street and summarily shot in the face. No trial, no due process, no bullshit. People should be aching for justice and baying for blood. But instead? Crickets.
Fellow 'blog buddy' and reader of my blog, Ol' Glen Filthie (check out his blog at https://filthiestbox.blogspot.com/ - he has an excellent taste for the rustic), recently lamented about the fact that it's always some 'new thing' that comes along to distract us. This week, it's the abortion 'issue' (which I already spoke my piece on). Before that, it was the bullshit in Ukraine (which has actually been going on since 2014). Before that, it was the Kung Flu. It's always something to distract the masses.
Honestly though? I don't know if I'd give everyone a pass like that. I think it was either Plato or Aristotle that said that "the price people pay for indifference to public affairs is to be ruled by the evil (or incompetent)".
It reminds me of a conversation I had a couple of summers ago with some idiot who's married to one of my wife's friends. It was at some kid's birthday party, or something. I didn't know any of these people who were gathered around the fire pit - most of them seemed decent, but I don't socialize much outside of work mainly because I'm busy working 80% of the time. Also, as one of the local mounties, I was friendly with everyone but I didn't get TOO close to people - I think it was because I was more inclined to spend what little spare time I had with my kids or on my own. But I digress. There were probably about 7 or 8 of us sitting around the fire pit, most people already a few drinks in (I made it a point to stick to water), and the topic of politics came up. Bad mix already. The topic of Justin Trudeau came up. No love for him with this crowd, with the exception of the idiot who happens to be the subject of this anecdote. He went off making excuses for Big Trudy, with his only defense for everything Trudy has done to fuck the country over 'so far' (keep in mind, this is BEFORE the Kung Flu hit everyone) is that 'Stephen Harper did...'. I don't know how this guy votes or what his proclivities are, nor did I care to. But after a few minutes of his insipid ranting, I abruptly cut him off and said something to the effect of "You know what, pal? Guys like YOU are the problem in this country, not Justin Trudeau. Because while he's a walking trainwreck who shouldn't be in charge of this country, he'll continue to fuck up and make a mess because guys like YOU keep making excuses and allowances for him." I left VERY shortly afterwards and probably didn't make too good of an impression on some folks there, but oh well...tough tits.
But the point of all that is this: the problem with Canada is Canadians (and you can extend that to Americans, Europeans, Australians, among others). Not politicians like Trudeau. Trudeau will continue to do what he does and his reign of idiocy, superficiality, extreme cruelty, entitlement, and hypocrisy will continue ONLY because people keep on looking the other way. As long as they keep on making allowances and excuses for him. As long as they keep saying shit like "Oh, well, it's like that EVERYWHERE" (and damn if that doesn't piss me off to no end), this bullshit WILL continue to happen EVERYWHERE. Without exception.
It's because we've become a pathetic loser society as a result of decades of compromise and lowered expectations. We have rock bottom standards in institutions where we need the best and brightest and we won't fight for a goddamn thing, especially if we feel we don't have skin in the game. God forbid anyone actually decide to fucking WIN at anything anymore. Kick ass at something or dominate a challenge. Fuck no, they'd much rather take anti-depressants, gorge themselves on takeout that's barely fit for human consumption, and watch a movie about superheroes or sports.
Garbage in, garbage out.
And....well, then there's the people who did serve their country and tried like Hell to keep the dam from bursting. The people who got burned out, tired, cynical. The people who lost their faith in the organization and the mission. The people who are left asking 'what the hell it was all for if it this is was what it all amounted to and this is how the story ends?' God knows, I'm no different.
Just as an aside, while I hate that movie with a passion, I do like that clip a lot. Maybe sometime, ask yourself what creates a cop like 'Officer Van Hauser'.
|A small hint|
Now, granted, we've seen a spark of that flame recently with the Freedom
Convoy. Warrant Officer James Topp is still marching across Canada.
There are people waking up. But....I'm not sure it's going to be
enough. Because the people who are doing this kind of shit to civilization are showing a ruthlessness and depravity that I don't think too many people in 'civilized' society can even comprehend, let alone are prepared to deal with. I'm referring to 'why' these things are done, not the mere fact that they're being done. We're dealing with an establishment that, in just the last two years, has weaponized our media (moreso than before), used their entire populace as 'guinea pigs' for an experimental 'vaccine', has inflated their economies into oblivion, and is pushing for another World War - the results of all of this will ensure a casualty rate in the hundreds of millions, if not billions.
Sure, people are starting to become wise to what's been happening to them. They're getting upset and/or angry. But the question is: what are they prepared to do about it? How much are they going to tolerate?
Part of the plan? Probably, but that's the point. If this is all
deliberate (and many signs point to 'YES'), how prepared is the average
person who has woken up going to be, even just mentally and emotionally,
to deal with an adversary such as this? I think the answer is obvious.
